Zack

My knowledge of poetry is limited to say the least. I spent first year English listening to my teacher read English 19th century poets and fell in love. As I am in my first year of retirement I am falling in love again. You have inspired me. I wrote my first (and only poem) about being made to feel as a slightly dimwitted person after I was asking questions at a bank. I felt so much better while writing it and I submitted it to a Writing Festival and was allowed to read it to a very small group at the public library. Thank God for good friends and family. Since then I have been considering writing more poems and you Zack, have inspired me. My goal will be to write a poem each week!
