I find the days race by. My dad used to say that. Now I understand the statement.

It seemed to me that as I got older and my time was my own I just filled it with what I wanted and time passed. What was wrong with that? How could I ever get old and be like, 40 or 45?

My 20’s

In my 20’s I was so busy having fun, working at a job I loved, dating, and trying new things I didn’t realize how time passed. The friends that I made while in nurse’s training are my good friends today. I got married and had my first son just before I left my twenties.

My 30’s

In my 30’s I had two more sons and that decade involved a house, a husband, three sons, and work. If I thought I was busy the decade before I was sadly mistaken.

This decade was full of new and exciting adventures. My family is very close and we would have big dinners. At the largest, it was 22 people. At our place, we used a scaffold instead of chairs for the kids. With this scaffold, the kids sat together on the platform and we could have more seating than if we used chairs.
