I have decided to try my first NaNoWriMo. I know why I am doing this. When I get overwhelmed with things that need to be done, I usually add a few more things to my plate.

Sometimes this works. I get focused and complete everything. But not always.

Sometimes, I still get overwhelmed and have one more thing I haven’t done. Sigh.

Where am I with my writing?

  1. Currently, I have written my first cozy mystery, but it needs another (another!) edit.
  2. I have my second cozy mystery three-quarters written. It is being edited as I write it. Fortunately, my editor has a librarian background, is a grammar nazi, and has time to edit my chapters each week. Thankfully, she is a very patient woman.
  3. I have a non-fiction book on poisonous plants ready to put together. I’ve thought I’d self-publish that one. I just need to take the course on how to self-publish the damn thing.
  4. I am taking a course (my favorite) with Ninja Writers called Working Writer, and currently, I am learning about Social Media (SM) and which ones I should be on. I rarely have time to waste on SM, but I need to know where my readers can be found…
