Thank you Todd. As usual you are right. I have been fortunate to have found a friend with tons of experience and writing knowledge when I took my first 6 week writing class. Since then she has mentored me and I am almost ready to see if my cozy mystery is good enough for an agent. She seldom reads mysteries only sci/fi and magical realism, (I would rather stick a fork in my eye than read that!!) but what I can bring to the table is ideas, questions about her stories, and honest encouragement. What she has taught me is that a good story is a good story, no matter the genre. We continue our once a week get together through Covid 19 on messenger. She had to teach me how to use it. (she is only 82 years old!). While I love my alone time, life can get better with a friend. Stay safe and ciao for now.
