Thank you for your story. I was a young, new RN and had to start an IV for Terry Fox’s chemotherapy after he had to stop his run. What I found amazing is that he was just a quiet young man, not the big hero I was expecting. Years later I realized we all could be heroes in the same quiet way that Terry Fox did. This story reminds me that we all need to go about doing the hard stuff that we believe in and just do it!
