Thank you for this article Michael. As someone that is not particularly competitive, some people think I am not that bright. They would also not know that I don't really care about what others think. I love the quote "What others think about me is none of my business."

What I have been doing since retiring is starting a new career in writing. I have completed my novel that I worked on forever before retirement and take a lot of online course in writing. The hardest part is figuring out the computer issues and marketing my blogs. I am learning new things everyday, and I love it.

I am busier than now in retirement than I was working full time, raising 3 sons, and looking after our home and being a partner to my husband. That is just the way I like it and it works for this non competitive woman.
