So very hard to hear your loss of confidence in friends. I think that says that you (and lots of the rest of us) do not know our friends as well as we think. Sometimes it takes something like this to show our friend's real colours. I would think you can take heart from these responses. There are real and good people out there. Both those that tell you how to get the return of your money and those offering help to stay on your antidepressant. The betrayal is worse than the loss of money, but as someone has already said you have learned a great lesson, one you won’t repeat again.
