Michael, what a beautiful article. I am a generation older than you but this was a nice reminder of what my husband and I do. While raising our children my husband got up first to go to work and always peeled fresh fruit for me for when I got up. Now, in retirement, I get up first to write at dawn and have an orange peeled and sectioned for him when he wakes.

Love is can be wonderful in the grand things but really it is the everyday little things that make your life special. Thank you for my smile this morning.
