I have learned my lesson and now get excited about other people's knitting projects. My grandmother is turning over in her grave. She was functionally blind for the last 25 years of her life and did more knitting, crocheting, and tatting than most with excellent vision. One of the last pieces she made was a short-sleeved, cream-colored crocheted dress without a pattern that fit me to a T. I wore that dress for many years.
