Life Can be Good, Make it The Way You Want.

I retired almost 4 years ago at 66 years of age and what a ride since then. I loved my job but knew it was time to go. I had other things to do.

I wanted to write my novel but really didn’t have a way forward, so I took a few classes from Ninja Writers and got going. The truth is that I had never taken any classes in writing until the year before I left work. Luckily I worked for the university and got a few classes free.

I took a course called ‘How to complete your novel’ What a joke! All I had was an idea for this one conversation that was so good I wanted to write a novel around it.That conversation was great but never made it into my book. Not to worry though, I have started on my second novel in the series and maybe, at some point, that conversation is going to fit in somewhere, just not sure where.

So I am now in my second career. Writing, I take several courses and am learning to be a better writer. I thought this would be my life for quite some time, but then Covid came along and hit mine and everyone else’s world.
