I was born left handed but both mum and teachers just gave me everything in my right hand. I just assumed I was a terrible writer. When I went in nursing school I loved being in the OR. One evening there was a emergency D&C. I said I would set up the tray for the surgeon. Once we got going he said "Oh thank God, I've got a left handed nurse." I looked around to see who he meant. After that, I found I could do most things equally well with left or right, even writing! They are equally bad.
