I never really cared for this film, but after reading your take on it, I will watch it once again with new eyes. Christmas has always been a wonderous time for me and despite any concerns that develop at or because of Christmas that never changes for me. Sometimes we need to really see things from someone else’s perspective to appreciate our lives. You are right. We need to make time for joy in times of sadness as that is what gets us through the tough times.
