I don't usually read stories about children as I find it a little too emotional. It's funny but I worked in an adult ER and looked after gunshot wounds, knifings, and any number of awful thinks. I just couldn't bear seeing children in pain for any reason. I was tearing up reading this article ... I never tear up .... but continued because I knew it would turn out well.

Imho, when you put yourself out there, you allow people to express their opinions however hateful they might be. It is a whole other thing to make assumptions and express hateful things about a child. That is wrong, mean, and unacceptable. Please do not listen to anyone that would do that. You have a sweet and now heathy child and that is the important thng. Thank you for helping her to grow in a loving home.
