How is it that I can be busier now than I have ever been? Lately, I feel like I did when, as a child, I would sneak time to read. It seems that I need to book in time to read.

During Covid I ran and did a 3 x weekly walk with the gals at the complex. But that was all.

Now because I can go back to recreation centers I want to go there for the types of things I used to do. Things like my circuit training. I don’t like weight training but if it is part of a set of lessons I do them. Also, I don’t like being inside exercising. Living on the West Coast I have the privilege of choosing whether I want to go outside or not. But these classes are inside.

At the beginning of a class, our instructor suggested we close our eyes and stand on one foot. Not a problem for me I thought. She suggested we all use a wall close by. I went to a wall just so I didn’t stand out. We started closing our eyes and O.M.G. What was going on? If that wall wasn’t there I would have fallen over. Opening my eyes I could see that everyone else was in the same boat. The instructor was smiling. Nothing like being taken down a notch.

We were told to practice in the shower if we had grab bars installed. I had to grin at that. When we first moved into our downsized place six…
