Funny how good advice applies to us all. My three sons are as different as can be and I had such high expectations for them all. I have learned to step back and realize I have healthy, productive, and kind sons. I also learned that I am no longer in charge and it doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t have wanted my parents involved in making decisions for me once I left home so why would they? It took a long time to step back but once I did I realized how healthy it was for them and for me.
